    This is more than a job; it's a chance to build your vision from the ground up. We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Director of Physical Therapy to lead, develop, and grow our new in-house physical therapy service line. You will be the architect of a program focused on innovative, evidence-based, and compassionate care that makes a tangible difference in the lives of children. You will have the autonomy to establish clinical protocols, shape the patient experience, and create a center of excellence for pediatric rehabilitation.

    What You Will Do

    • Program Development: Spearhead the ground-up development and implementation of our new pediatric physical therapy program.

    • Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and mentor a high-performing, multidisciplinary team, including additional Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Personal Trainers.

    • Clinical Excellence: Establish and oversee all clinical standards of care, treatment protocols, and quality assurance measures to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

    • Patient Care: Manage a personal caseload, providing expert-level physical therapy evaluations and treatments for a variety of pediatric orthopaedic and sports-related injuries.

    • Operational Management: Direct the daily operations of the department, including budgeting, scheduling, and performance management.

    • Collaborative Growth: Work closely with our orthopaedic surgeons and staff to create a seamless, integrated care experience for our patients and their families.

    Who You Are

    • A licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia with a degree from an accredited PT program (DPT preferred).

    • You possess a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with a strong background in orthopaedics.

    • A natural leader with proven experience in mentorship, program development, or clinical management.

    • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited by the prospect of building a team and a service line.

    • You are passionate about helping children and adolescents achieve their recovery goals.

    • Please Note: While a Pediatric Certified Specialist (PCS) designation is a plus, it is not required. We value extensive clinical experience and a demonstrated passion for pediatric care (typical patients will be at least eight years old).

    A Ground-Floor Surgical Opportunity

    This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented and motivated Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join us as a foundational member of our practice. You will play a pivotal role in establishing the surgical identity and reputation of NOVA Pediatric Orthopaedics. In this ground-floor role, you will have the unique advantage of building your ideal practice, developing a robust patient base, and shaping the operative direction of our group with significant professional autonomy.

    What You Will Do

    • Have a practice that is completely based around sports medicine; there is no requirement to see conditions unrelated to your fellowship training.

    • Work in close collaboration with our on-site Pediatric Sports Medicine Physician and physical therapy team to develop comprehensive, coordinated treatment plans for every patient.

    • Establish and maintain surgical privileges at leading local hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.

    • Contribute to the strategic growth of the practice through professional networking, community engagement, and a commitment to clinical excellence.

    • Serve as a leader and mentor within a growing, multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered outcomes.


    Qualifications

    • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

    • Successful completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery residency program.

    • Must have successfully completed a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery.

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).

    • Eligible for full, unrestricted medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

    • Demonstrated excellence in surgical skills, clinical judgment, and a patient-first philosophy.

    A Ground-Floor Clinical Opportunity

    This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join us as an initial member of our clinical team. You will play a pivotal role in establishing the care protocols and efficient patient flow of NOVA Pediatric Orthopaedics. In this ground-floor role, you will have the unique advantage of running your own clinics and shaping the clinical direction of our group with significant professional autonomy.

    What You Will Do

    • Run your own clinics focused on various orthopaedic conditions, post-operative follow-ups, and non-operative fracture management.

    • Collaborate with other APPs to efficiently staff and run our daily walk-in clinic for acute injuries and urgent orthopaedic concerns during business hours (no early mornings, evenings, or weekend call required).

    • Provide expert, evidence-based orthopaedic care, including fracture reduction/management, joint injections, casting, splinting, and interpretation of imaging (X-rays).

    • Serve as a valuable team member, ensuring seamless communication between the physician team, patients, and families.

    • Opportunities to work in office and operating rooms

    Qualifications

    • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).

    • Eligible for full, unrestricted licensure and prescriptive authority in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

    • Pediatric Orthopaedic experience is strongly preferred. Experience working with children (infants through adolescents) is highly valued.

    • Demonstrated excellence in clinical judgment, procedural skills, and a patient-first philosophy.

    A Ground-Floor Imaging Opportunity

    Are you an experienced and compassionate Radiology Technician looking for an exciting new role dedicated to improving the health of children? This is a unique opportunity to work in a pristine, modern facility where you will be instrumental in starting up our in-house imaging services, utilizing and managing brand new, top-of-the-line radiology equipment.

    What You Will Do

    We are seeking a dedicated professional comfortable and proficient in working with patients from infants through young adults. You will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging to support our pediatric orthopaedic specialists by:

    • Performing X-ray examinations following established protocols for a wide range of pediatric orthopaedic conditions (fractures, scoliosis, hip dysplasia, etc.).

    • Ensuring the comfort and cooperation of young patients and their families throughout the imaging process.

    • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all safety and quality control standards.

    • Contributing to the maintenance and efficient operation of the new radiology equipment.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will:

    • Hold the necessary certification/licensure to practice as a Radiology Technician.

    • Possess experience working with pediatric patients (highly preferred).

    • Demonstrate a commitment to minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA principles).

    • Exhibit excellent patient care skills, especially when communicating with children and anxious parents.

    • Be a proactive, detail-oriented team member ready to thrive in a new, fast-paced environment.
